Watch Boba Fett actor Daniel Logan test Boba Fett's armor by setting it on fire

The newest episode of the fantasy-meets-fact series Science and Star Wars turns up the heat on everyone's favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett. Literally.

Host Anthony Carboni invited actor Daniel Logan, who played a young version of Boba Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, to join him for the episode, and the two of them proceeded to test the modern-day equivalent of Mandalorian armor using reasonable facsimiles of Fett's weapons.

Specifically, they tested a 5.5 Kevlar Boba Fett-style vest against stabbing knives, a 2-watt blue laser diode, and an arm-mounted flamethrower made by inventor and Star Wars fan Allen M. Pan.

It's an interesting experiment and will likely give fans who believe Boba Fett survived the Sarlacc Pit more to digest.

Science is catching up to science fiction more and more every day, isn't it?
