Scooby Doo faces a doggie Crisis in comic crossover with Krypto and Ace the Bathound

The Scooby-Doo Team-Up series has offered the Mystery Machine gang a chance to meet just about everyone, in a comic run that feels like a throwback to the old crossover animated episodes where folks like the Harlem Globetrotters always seemed to show up.

But the latest Team-Up installment, issue #35, might be the coolest yet. Released this week, the new issue of the digital first series kicks off a “Doggone Crisis” storyline that should be familiar to DC Comics stalwarts. Scooby is recruited to help out Krypto the Super-Dog and Ace the Bat-hound, aka the canine pals of Superman and Batman, to help out a world that is comprised solely of talking dogs (hence the call out for doggie heroes).

The series is written by Sholly Fisch, with art by Dario Brizuela, Franco Riesco and Saida Temofonte.

It’s weird, wild and and a whole lot of fun.
