Marvel's little New York miniverse is continuing to take shape over on Netflix, with more and more details hitting the 'net about the upcoming Jessica Jones and Luke Cage series. Seeing those heroes onscreen for the first time will definitely be exciting, but we're also looking forward to Season 2 of Daredevil, the gritty Hell's Kitchen series that swept plenty of viewers off their feet last spring.
Obviously the biggest and most exciting news about Season 2 thus far is that Jon Bernthal will join the show as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, and it's likely he and Daredevil won't exactly start off on the right foot. But what about the rest of the cast? What else can we expect? Well, yesterday the official Daredevil Twitter account revealed a major returning character with big implications for Season 2.
That's right, Scott Glenn will be back as Stick, and there are a lot of interesting places his continuing story with Matt Murdock could go. When we last left them, Murdock's former mentor had just killed a child against Murdock's wishes, then the two had a brutal showdown. Stick escaped and reported to a mysterious employer, who asked if Daredevil will be ready "when the doors open." It was a mysterious sendoff for the character, one that will no doubt see some kind of payoff when the series returns.
Daredevil hits Netflix with Season 2 next year.
