More Wonder Woman is officially on the way. Warner Brothers officially announced the sequel to this summer's box office hit during their official Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic Con on Saturday.
While most fans had assumed the sequel would be happening - and rumors about a possible setting have been floating around for weeks - the studio saved the official announcement for the annual nerd gathering.
Patty Jenkins is expected to return to the director's chair. Meanwhile, DC Films' Geoff Johns has said he is already working on the script.
Wonder Woman broke box office records following its June 2 release this year. It quickly became the highest grossing live action film directed by a woman and will pass Guardians of the Galaxy 2's numbers today to become the highest grossing movie of the year.
