There's that moment, in every movie you love, right before the big honking action scene, when the hero puts his team together. And, if he's a lone wolf—as so many heroes are—that team is made up of a ludicrous amount of guns. This stellar supercut is all about the buildup and all about the weapons and all about the awesome.
According to editor David Balboa, who runs the Exophrine blog, here are the genre flicks he culled from (while not leaning on Stallone's Rambo and Schwarzenegger's Commando) for "Lock & Load": Sin City, Star Trek: First Contact, Hellboy, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, DOOM, The Last Starfighter, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Matrix, Men in Black 1 & 2, Spider-Man 2, The Wild Wild West, Shaun of the Dead, Iron Man, Grindhouse: Planet Terror, X2: X-Men United, The Incredibles, The Punisher, Punisher: War Zone, Kick-Ass, The Crow, and Spawn.
They all work together pretty well, don't you think? Makes you want to prepare for combat but stop just before all that pesky bloodletting.
