See exactly how STAR Labs fits into The Flash with new clip + interview

The CW’s upcoming Flash series looks to expand the Arrow-verse in a more straight up sci-fi direction, and some new footage focused around STAR Labs and cast member Tom Cavanagh sheds some light on how that’ll work.

Cavanagh (Ed) plays physicist Harrison Wells, who works at STAR Labs in Central City and is heavily involved in the experiment that goes haywire and gives Barry (Grant Gustin) his super speed, as seen in his final Arrow scene, which ended with him in a coma.

In a new interview, spliced around with some new footage from Barry Allen’s time at STAR Labs, Cavanagh talks about how the iconic DC tech company fits into the spinoff series. Basically, it sounds like the motley crew there will serve as Barry’s support team, much like the Team Arrow dynamic that fans have come to know and love.
