A cool new video, highlighting the connections between Marvel’s Agent Carter and the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large, has been released by Mr Sunday Movies.

There were quite a lot of easter eggs peppered throughout the first season of the eight-episode Marvel TV series, some so obscure as to be hard to catch for the uninitiated, while others were way obvious! The following video has underlined five of the most important ones, including:

1.) The strong parallels between the father-and-son duo of Howard (Dominic Cooper) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).

2.) The origins of the Black Widow program, and the fact that we’ll get to learn a bit more about Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), aka Black Widow, in the second Avengers flick.

3.) The many references to Steve Rogers/Captain America and the Super Soldier program, as well as its far-reaching ramifications.

4.) The link between Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy) and J.A.R.V.I.S., who later becomes the Vision (Paul Bettany).

5.) At least five allusions to supervillains and supervillain organizations.
