The viral campaign behind the latest X-Men flick continues this week with a look at how the notorious Sentinels are put together.
One of the key elements of X-Men: Days of Future Past's marketing campaign so far has been Trask Industries, the fictional company headed by Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage), a powerful scientific mind who sees mutants as a threat to humanity and creates the Sentinels to combat and detain mutants. We've already seen glimpses of these advanced, mutant-hunting robots, but now we get to literally peel back their slick exterior and see what they're really made of, thanks to the blueprint below, courtesy of the official X-Men Movies Twitter account.
Sadly, there aren't any plot details to be had in this image (at least, none that we can see, but you're welcome to look), but there are some cool notations that break down how the Sentinel's brain works, and it does get us just a little bit closer to what Trask Industries is up to. Check out all the notes in the diagram, and don't forget to visit the official Trask Industries website for even more Sentinel madness.
X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters May 23, 2014.
