The crew behind the scenes of Star Trek Beyond sure know how to generate some buzz for a charity campaign. The trick? Set it on the Enterprise, and show off a new alien and some nifty sci-fi tech.

The latest video promo for the film’s charity team-up with Omaze stars Simon Pegg (Scotty), Anton Yelchin (Chekov) and Yelchin’s dog Elvis (seriously), strolling the halls of the Enterprise, talking up the charity aspects, and announcing the first winner. Basically, a $10 donation will get you a chance to win a trip to the set to hang with the cast, plus a walk-on role in the movie. Not a bad deal, plus you get to help a ton of worthy causes.

As for what we actually see in the video: A new type of alien head in the design phase, and some neato Trek tech being conceived and put together. It’s an obvious aspect of a film project like this, but it’s interesting to get a peek into how they come up with all that tech meant to represent the glorious future.

So check out the new clip and let us know what you think:
