Daredevil Season 3 will finally introduce Bullseye, and now we've got a better look at him in action.
SYFY WIRE confirmed exclusively Saturday morning that Wilson Bethel will be playing the iconic Marvel Comics supervillain in the next arc of the hit Netflix series, alongside Charlie Cox in the title role. Bethel himself broke the news with Cox by his side at the SYFY WIRE Live Stage during New York Comic Con.
At the time the news broke, we'd already seen Bethel briefly in action in the first full trailer for Season 3, playing a Daredevil impostor who Matt Murdock must face in order to keep his city safe from the returning threat of the Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio). Now, thanks to a new teaser revealed at the show's NYCC event, we get to learn more about who and what he really is.
Agent Poindexter is a government employee who never seems to miss. He's very good at killing people, and lately all that killing seems to be getting to him, so much so that his government work doesn't seem to sate him anymore. Enter the voices in his head, and the Kingpin, who recognizes his talents and gives him a job to do. That's when Bullseye is born, and dresses up in a devil costume to take down Murdock. Check it out:
Fans have obviously been waiting to see Bullseye show up since the moment the Daredevil series was announced, and he had to wait his turn behind Kingpin, Elektra, and The Punisher. Now he's finally here, he's collaborating with Fisk, and this just might be more than Matt Murdock can handle.
Daredevil returns to Netflix Oct. 19, with Bullseye in tow.
