For a 91-year-old guy, the marvelous Stan Lee gets around. And by that, we mean he appears in more Marvel-based movies than people who are half his age. Lee typically appears briefly in movies based on the characters he co-created, such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men and the Hulk. However, his next appearance will be a little different.
On Feb. 4, 2014, the Jack Kirby Hall-of-Fame awards-winning editor will be making a cameo appearance in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And although he created the superhero group the Avengers, the agents are unique to the show (aside from a brief cameo by Nick Fury). This marks the first time that Lee will be making a cameo in a superhero movie not of his own creation.
Does Lee's cameo pave the way for future appearances on TV and in the movies -- that are not based on characters he created? With any luck, Lee will get that Batman vs. Superman appearance that he craves.
Check out a(n extremely) brief appearance by Lee.
Note: We guess this means the person who created this supercut of Lee's appearances will have to update it.
