See an audience freak out while watching Paranormal Activity 4

The latest installment in the long-running found-footage-style horror series Paranormal Activity opens Oct. 19, and to prove that the hat trick hasn't gotten old, the studio has released a new trailer showing audience-goers freaking the flip out while watching part four. So what's all the fuss about?

Employing the ever-popular "audience reaction" view, the trailer splices in some creepy footage with viewers jumping, screaming and generally crapping their pants all over the place.

Set five years after Paranormal Activity 2 (part three was a prequel), the latest sequel hopes to be the creepiest yet by catching up (nearly) with the modern timeline.

The Paranormal gimmick worked pretty well early on for some genuine scares, but you have to wonder how long that static camera view can keep giving us chills.
