See the bizarre zombie TV ad so intense it got banned

Everybody loves zombies, right? WRONG. Apparently the peoples of Norway have some very strong anti-zombie feelings. Need proof? How about this commercial, which viewers felt was so gratuitous that they had it banned?

Just to set up—it's a beautiful summer day when, WHAM, the zombie apocalypse happens. Go figure. But don't you worry about your suburban home town, because they've got lots and lots of ... sporting equipment. Yeah. Just watch.

Seems pretty hilarious, but the Norwegians were not amused by the golf-playing zombies or that dude in the scuba gear. They called the advert irrelevant, disgusting and stupid.

Bottom line? They were mad. Not so much because of the content of the ad, but because of the time in which it aired. Apparently, the TV spot aired during family programming, and the folks in Norway just didn't find that terribly appropriate.

The commercial was banned from daytime TV and restricted to air only after 9:00 p.m. I guess once you get beyond a certain hour, no one cares what happens to a milk man during an honest day's work. Go figure.
