We’re less than a month away from the highly anticipated premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (not that anyone needs a reminder, of course), and a new behind-the-scenes video has been unleashed.

The story featurette teases the fun connections between director Gareth Edwards’ (GodzillaStar Wars film and A New Hope, while boasting some cool new footage, a fresh look at some of the film's new aliens and droids, and featuring video interviews with stars Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso) and Diego Luna (Cassian Andor); with Edwards taking us through the set and storyline and showing a deep reverence to the source material.

The movie set in a galaxy far, far away takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and centers on the fledgling Rebel Alliance and the band of brave Rebels who embark on a dangerous mission to retrieve the plans of the Empire’s ultimate new weapon of mass destruction, the Death Star.

Along with Felicity Jones and Diego Luna, Rogue One also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker and James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader. It will open in less than 12 parsecs across movie theaters on Dec. 16. Check out the featurette below, and let us know what you think.
