Sesame Street has offered us a look into the original meeting of its most famous duo, Bert and Ernie, with a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air parody that we never knew we needed.

Titled "How They Became Bert & Ernie," the video follows a young Bert as he grows up on Sesame Street, scrubbing away graffiti, rather than making it, which earns him a thumbs-up from a passing cop. He then moves from his mother, in search of a roommate, meeting Oscar who told him to "SCRAM!"

Finally, he meets Ernie, asking if he'd like to be friends that can "laugh, learn, and share." And so, the rest is history, although Bert, always a bit of an uptight stickler, isn't too fond of the rotating throne.

The Fresh Prince's theme song is arguably the most iconic TV theme of all time. No matter what where you are at any time, any person simply start belting it out once you utter those three key words: "In...west Philadelphia..."

Sesame Street is well-known for its pop culture pardoies that, to date, have included Star Wars, The Avengers, Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, Jurassic Park, The VoiceThe Hunger Games, The Walking Dead, Les Misérables, The Karate Kid, and Stranger Things
