Looks like a certain fan favorite may not have bitten the proverbial dust in Season 5 of Game of Thrones after all!

Watchers on the Wall claim that sources have told them that the HBO fantasy series, based on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire saga, is currently filming parts of a massive battle in Saintfield, Northern Ireland, and that it may be part of the usually-battle-heavy Episode 9 of the show's upcoming sixth season.

Preparations for said battle sequence and the beginning of filming were spotted in the area recently, but they couldn’t give too many details about it. However, the site says the battle will involve many northern armies fighting that'll include the Umbers, the Boltons, wildlings, and more. That sounds pretty neat, right?

And here’s where the BIG WHOPPING SPOILER comes into play. Open eyeClose eye Show Spoiler Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow, was not only seen at the location, swoon-worthy Jon Snow hair and all, he also took part in the filming. Harington has been spotted in Belfast again with Iwan Rheon, who plays that bastard Ramsay Snow Bolton on the show. Last we saw Jon in the Season 5 finale; he’d been stabbed, apparently to death, by his fellow brothers of the Night’s Watch. My theory is that Jon Snow is truly dead, just like the actor and showrunners have claimed in endless interviews following the season finale. But with Melisandre (Carice van Houten) back at Castle Black, I think he will be resurrected. No longer held by his vows to the Night’s Watch -- having "died" and been reborn as Jon Stark -- he’ll now be free to leave the Wall and head south in order to search for his missing siblings and fight to retake Winterfell from the Boltons. But as I said, that’s just my theory.

What's yours?
