Disney Channel’s hit animated series Phineas & Ferb has never been known to shy away from a good crossover, so with Halloween just around the corner, we finally have our first look at the animated version of Shaun of the Dead.

We’d heard a while back that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s fan-fave zombie fighters Shaun and Ed from the 2004 zom-com would pop up in the Night of the Living Dead-inspired episode, and the network has now offered us a peek at the animated armageddon.

Cartoon or not, it’s awesome to see Shaun and Ed back in action. Plus, though he doesn’t show up in this clip, the episode will also feature a voice cameo from zombie auteur George Romero himself, playing a local reporter. There'll also be a few more guests, including Noah Wyle (Falling Skies) and Bella Thorne (Blended).

Dubbed “Night of the Living Pharmacists,” the special finds Agent P and the kids forced to work together after Doofenshmirtz's latest “-inator” accidentally turns the citizens of Danville into contagious Doof-zombies who run rampant all over town. Ridiculous? Sure, but it sounds like fun.

Check out the clip below and let us know what you think:

Phineas & Ferb has never been afraid to embrace the irreverent in the search for a good pop culture gag, and we’re actually pretty psyched to see this one-hour special when it debuts Saturday, Oct. 4, on Disney Channel.
