Now that Avengers: Infinity War has started press screenings, word about the latest MCU team-up has already begun spreading on Twitter, as critics and fans start to weigh in. Which could also mean one thing: Spoilers could potentially begin flowing like snark from Tony Stark's mouth.
In an effort to stem the tide of spoilers, Marvel has released a new video, all under the banner of "Say no to spoilers." The video features many MCU actors (including Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackie, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Evans, and Mark Ruffalo) seemingly being interrogated about the new film's secrets. None of them are cracking, with Cheadle dismissing the entire thing in the best possible way, saying, "This is a trap."
Downey enjoys his water, while Holland says nothing, mostly appearing with tape over his mouth— this is with good reason, as the directing duo of Joe and Anthony Russo recently took the Spider-Man actor to task for revealing secrets, and gave him a "really fake script" because of it.
Bautista looks about ready to tear in half whoever is on the other side of the camera, and Pratt gives the best non-answer of all, with the brilliantly paced line, "I can't say for sure... anything. But I can say...nothing."
Nothing is exactly what we want! The secrets of this film have been kept under wraps for so long now, and the darn thing is almost here. It would be shame to get spoiled (or worse, to spoil someone else) when we're all so close to the finish line. If you or someone you love is either attempting to spoil, or is going to read spoilers, tell them to just say no.
Watch the full video above, and remember...THANOS DEMANDS YOUR SILENCE.
Avengers: Infinity War opens on April 27. Please keep it cool.
