What do you get when you combine Simon Pegg, several Monty Python members, the late Robin Williams and Kate Beckinsale into an ambitiously weird sci-fi comedy? Absolutely Anything. Literally.

The first trailer for the upcoming flick has been released, and it looks like a sci-fi spin on the Bruce Almighty story of an average guy given godlike powers. The film follows a disillusioned school teacher (Pegg) who suddenly has the ability to do anything thanks to alien intervention. That’s a fun setup regardless, but with Pegg at the center, it has the potential for comedy gold. Potty humor? Sure. But still, fun stuff.

The aliens are, of course, voiced by Python alums John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Eric Idle. Pegg’s character also gives his dimwitted dog the ability speak, which turns out to be an awesome move once the voice of Robin Williams comes out. The rest of the human cast is capably rounded out by Kate Beckinsale, Eddie Izzard and Rob Riggle.

No U.S. release date has been set yet, though Absolutely Anything opens Aug. 14 in the U.K.
