Snake Outta Compton may be a sign that satire has gone too far. Or, depending on your sense of humor and horror, maybe the first trailer is just the best thing you'll see on the internet today.
The upcoming spoof is slated for 2018 and co-written and directed by Hank Braxtan, whose previous features include Unnatural and Blood Effects. Stars include relative unknowns Ricky Flowers Jr., Motown Maurice, and Donte Essien.
The logline? Giant mutant snake versus struggling rappers. Need more than that?

Here's the official slithering synopsis, according to the press release (via Dread Central):
A young rap group suddenly find themselves up against a giant, mutated snake that threatens to destroy their search for stardom! Aided by two corrupt cops, a crazed gangster, and a mad scientist, the band has one thing to do before getting the record deal they need: get that motherf**kin’ Snake Outta Compton!
Prepare yourself for dope ass beats, unfriendly fire, and the biggest, nastiest snake you’ve ever seen in this outrageous satire of creature features, urban gangster films, and hip-hop culture.
Full disclosure: I only made it about 20 seconds into the trailer before I had to stop. I am deathly afraid of snakes, and though the giant cartoony version was okay, the first sight of a tiny little real one made me shut it off.
So, what'd I miss?
