Arkane Games and Bethesda Softworks' rousing Dishonored gaming franchise has recruited a large and loyal following since debuting its stealthy action-adventure amusement back in 2012.

This award-winning, Victorian-inspired series traces the epic journeys of Royal Protector Corvo Attano, Empress Emily Kaldwin, and the deadly assassins Daud and Billie Lurk amid the dirty, plague-infected city of Dunwall.

The atmospheric follow-up, Dishonored 2, was launched in November of 2016 and won “Best Action/Adventure Game” at the Game Awards 2016. It was also nominated for "Best of Show," "Best Console Game," "Best PC Game," and "Best Action/Adventure Game" at the Game Critics Awards.

Titan Comics has taken up the noble cause and continued the quest in comic form with this past fall's Dishonored 2: The Peeress and The Price. It's a masterful medieval mini-series written in fine style by Michael Moreci and matched with breathtaking art by Andrea Olimpieri.

The first 64-page collection of this intense sequel title gallops into comic shops on Feb. 20, and readers will be truly mesmerized by what the creative team has conjured up.

Here's the official synopsis:

Set after the events of Dishonored 2 – Emily and Corvo make their return to Dunwall to discover that a deadly new enemy is on the loose – one that could spell doom for them both ...

Written by Michael Moreci (Roche Limit, Burning Fields, Curse) and illustrated by Andrea Olimpieri (Mostri, True Blood), this volume collects Dishonored: The Peeress and the Price Issues 1 and 2 and is a must-read for fans of the Dishonored games.

"It was incredibly meaningful," Moreci told Titan on his involvement with this project. "To that point, I’d never worked on a game property before. I’ve been playing video games nonstop for over thirty years, and even though I’ve worked in comics and novels, I never dreamed I’d be able to dip my toes in gaming. It just seemed so unreachable in a weird way. So getting a chance to cross that barrier was, to say the least, very fun and gratifying."
