With work well underway on Marvel's Phase 2, new synopses have been released for Captain America: Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy. So what do we learn?

The breakdowns are pretty vague, but they do throw out a few new details. This is technically the first synopsis we've seen for Guardians of the Galaxy, which teases an "unlikely" cast battling a "cosmic force."

The new synopsis for Winter Soldier offers up some small details, namely that it picks up directly after The Avengers. This definitely fits with speculation that it will feature S.H.I.E.L.D. prominently, as part of Cap's tale. It also seems like Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) will still be trying to find his place in life.

Check out the synopses below:

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER (Marvel) will be available in 3D.
Releases on 4/4/14. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER will pick up where "Marvel's The Avengers" leaves off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world. The film stars Chris Evans in the title role and will be directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (Marvel) will be available in 3D.
Releases on 8/1/14. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, based on the Marvel comic books of the same name, features an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions. James Gunn will direct.

Which of these are you most looking forward to?
