Grab your crew, because tickets for Solo: A Star Wars Story are going on sale tonight.
It might seem like you just bought tickets for Star Wars: The Last Jedi only a few short months ago, but we're traveling at light speed and Disney/Lucasfilm just announced that the tickets for Solo: A Star Wars Story will go on sale at 9 p.m. PT May 3, which is technically the beginning of Star Wars Day (May 4) on the East Coast.
Some fans began to get nervous last year when a director switch-up came late in production, with Ron Howard taking over the reins of the film. But so far Solo is still currently on track to be one of the highest-grossing Memorial Day releases of all time.
Solo is the second spin-off film in the franchise, and like Rogue One will see tickets go on sale three weeks before opening night. The film will focus on how iconic character Han Solo became the scoundrel fans have now known for over four decades. We'll also learn how he met favorite characters Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian, and how he landed himself in the pilot's seat of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.
As mentioned above, ticket sales start at 12 a.m. ET on May 4th, and are sure to be a popular item, so May The Fourth be with you on your ticket quest.
Solo: A Star Wars Story opens May 25.
