For those who wanted to know more about the surviving Heroes who populated Tim Kring’s 2006 to 2010 series, your days of wondering will soon be over. On Sept. 24, we’ll get to see what happens after the cheerleader revealed her ability to heal herself to the world. And from the trailer, below, it’s not the happiest of results.

Claire the Cheerleader may have been right in wanting to live a normal, power-free life (despite viewers like myself saying, “Quit whining! You’re super-powered!”): It seems that Evos—the evolved humans—are being hunted.

This 13-episode series will be introducing some new characters to the Heroes pantheon, plus bringing back some familiar faces, such as Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis).

But not the cheerleader. Sadly, Hayden Panettiere will not be reprising her role. However, fan favorite Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) will, so all is well for the fans--even if it isn't for the Evos.
