Someone call Moffat: This fan-made Who intro's better than the real thing!

Doctor Who's opening titles have gone through many changes over the years. But next time? They should hire this guy.

What do you think of the current credits for Doctor Who? Not bad, right? But what if we told you that there's a fan out there who has done something even better? It's all a matter of taste, of course, but we think what undiscovered U.K. VFX artist Xandercom has managed is nothing short of glorious.

What you're about to see was done entirely for free and by a single artist.

How have the BBC not picked this guy up already? Count us as fans who think they should. After all, isn't Doctor Who a show created by fans for fans? And with the 50th anniversay coming up, we imagine the Beeb will want to pull out all the stops. If they're looking for one more title sequence update, we think this could be their guy.
