The man who brought two of the most iconic characters in Space Ghost: Coast to Coast to life — C. Martin Croker — has passed away at the age of 54.

Croker provided the voice work for fan-favorite characters Zorak and Moltar on Cartoon Network’s cult hit animated talk show spoof Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. He was also an animator for the series. The details of Croker’s death have not been disclosed.

Space Ghost: Coast to Coast was one of the weirdest and coolest shows ever to grace the airwaves, mixing animation and live action for a bizarro late-night talk show. The classic Hanna Barbara character Space Ghost hosted the series, with his roster of rogues serving as on-air sidekicks. One of the most popular was Croker’s Zorak, who served as Space Ghost’s band leader and never gave up his bad-guy edge. Along with the flagship series, Croker also voiced the character on spinoff shows such as The Brak Show and Cartoon Planet.

Though Space Ghost is certainly his claim to fame, Croker also provided the voice of Dr. Weird and his assistant Steve on the Adult Swim series Aqua Teen Hunger Force. On the animation side, he also worked on Comedy Central’s hilarious and criminally under-watched Ugly Americans (along with his career as animation director of Space Ghost, of course).
