SpaceX’s Falcon rocket will soon be used to ferry astronauts to the International Space Station, and here’s some stunningly high-definition footage of the fiery launch system in action.

Outside of NASA, SpaceX is on the cutting edge of the United States’ space exploration efforts these days. The Falcon project is a key piece of that strategy, and the Falcon 9 is the linchpin. The company has ambitious plans for the rocket line, to the point that they eventually hope to have them fly back to Earth and land on a floating platform after use. Admittedly, they haven’t worked out the kinks just yet, but SpaceX is insanely close to pulling it off.

As for this new footage? SpaceX has released a supercut of Falcon 9 launches, all in stunning 4K high definition. The clips include HDR-style footage, slow-motion shots and several different angles of the Falcon 9 in action. For space nerds, it’s absolutely glorious — and a peek at a piece of rocket tech that’ll soon be one of the primary modes of transportation for U.S. astronauts.

Strap in and enjoy.
