The Amazing Spider-Man Blu-ray's filled with goodies. In the special features, viewers can get a behind-the-scenes look at how Peter and Gwen came to be. Their casting could make or break the movie. Here's a sneak peek at Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's original screen test.

Sparks flew as both actors acted out a scene in front of director Marc Webb. He knew right away that Stone was the right one to bring Gwen Stacy to life. "When we tested them, there was fireworks," says Webb. "She could take on Andrew's improvisation and witticisms and one-up him. I mean, it was amazing to see them go back and forth. ... It became an obvious combination, because that's what people are there for."

Spider-Man himself shared Webb's sentiment. "She came in and she was like a shot of espresso," says Garfield. "She's incredibly energetic and enthusiastic, and she had this sense of play and fun which was incredibly exciting."

In the following video, you can see the actors were a natural fit. Webb wanted Peter and Gwen to have authentic chemistry. The duo had all that and then some!

The Amazing Spider-Man hits DVD/Blu-ray Friday, Nov. 9.
