Spider-Man: Homecoming Honest Trailer takes a swing at previous Spidey movies

The movie geeks at Screen Junkies have released a new Honest Trailer, and this time they’re taking an up-close-and-personal look at Spider-Man: Homecoming. Are your spoiler-senses tingling?

Poking fun at Sony’s previous five Spidey movies — you know, the ones starring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield — this latest entry into the hilarious video franchise points out that yes, Marvel did a great job at rebooting the franchise for the MCU that will “keep Spider-Man in theaters until the fuc**** sun burns out of the sky.”

Although they praise the Marvel/Sony movie in their usual hilarious fashion, the Honest Trailer also points a webbed finger at some of the film’s flaws that include Tom Holland’s Peter Parker having a powerful new superpower: never facing the consequences of his actions like running out of detention, quitting the debate team during an important tournament, falsely imprisoning people and wrecking a lot (and we mean A LOT) of stuff over the course of the movie.
