Spock's trapped in a volcano in 1st clip from Star Trek Into Darkness

We’ve seen so many trailers already, it’s easy to forget that no Star Trek Into Darkness clips have actually been released. Until now.

The first clip is finally live, which shows more of that scene with Spock (Zachary Quinto) trying to get out of the frying pan (literally) in a massive volcano. As for the Enterprise, Kirk and company have some problems of their own, as giant monster fish are swimming around the Enterprise, which is underwater.

The footage has apparently been lifted from the first nine minutes of the film, and Benedict Cumberbatch’s mysterious baddie is nowhere to be seen, so it doesn’t seem too spoilery. So what stands out? For one, those Aquaman-style uniforms definitely are something else ... and you can be the judge as to whether that’s a good thing.
