Stan the Man is apparently knocking out one appearance in a Marvel-based film after another.
According to Screenrant, the legendary Stan Lee has shot cameos for five upcoming Marvel movies, including Avengers: Infinity War and the yet-to-be-titled Avengers 4. Lee's personal manager revealed at Wizard World Nashville 2017, where Lee was appearing:
“What we can say about Avengers: Infinity War is that he filmed both parts, one and two. We did Ant-Man, we did Black Panther. We did Thor too.”
That is pretty much everything that Marvel Studios has coming out in roughly the next 18 to 20 months. Also on tap from the studio in 2019 are Captain Marvel and the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (the latter with Sony), but there's no reason to assume he won't show up in either of those pictures as well.
On the Fox side of the Marvel film empire, Lee appears in all those movies too, although his manager made no mention of the recently wrapped Deadpool 2. It's possible that he was thinking solely of Marvel Cinematic Universe releases however, since Lee could also theoretically shoot cameos for New Mutants and X-Men: Dark Phoenix as well.
And then of course there is that biopic that Stan says he has discussed with potental star Leonardo DiCaprio -- if that ever gets made, we've have to assume that the real Stan would show up in that one as well.
It's true that at the age of 94, Stan has slowed down somewhat on the convention circuit and also recently had to deal with the death of his beloved wife Joan. But the good news is that he shows no signs for now of curtailing his onscreen cameos and continues to be a beloved part of the incredible, vast universe he co-created all those decades ago.
