So what does Stan Lee think Marvel is cooking up for Phase 3 and beyond?

We’ve already heard rumblings that Doctor Strange and Black Panther could be next in line for the standalone movie treatment (which Lee confirms here again), but after that, he says the company is “probably” going to make an Inhumans flick.

Based on the superhuman Marvel group introduced back in the mid-1960s, the project is rumored to be the company’s take on rolling an X-Men-style property into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (since the real X-Men are tied up at another studio).

Lee dropped the info in a recent interview with Too Fab:

"Right now, the people at Marvel are looking through our whole list of candidates and wondering which ones are we going to use now.

“They are going to do the Black Panther. They are going to use Doctor Strange. They are going to do Ant-Man. They are going to do the Guardians of the Galaxy ... And they'll probably do the Inhumans.”

There have been rumblings for a while now that Inhumans could be a part of Phase 3, and Lee would definitely be in a position to know about it. Assuming the big gamble with Guardians of the Galaxy pays off, it could make for a nice further expansion of the universe.

But first, let's just get those Doctor Strange and Black Panther movies off the ground. C’mon, Marvel, we’re waiting on you.
