Over the course of several decades, Stan "The Man" Lee has created some of the most iconic superhero characters of all time, and even though he’s now 93 years young, it looks like the creative juices are still flowing.

According to Variety, Lee will be joining forces again with frequent collaborator Sharad Devarajan to create a new superhero called Monkey Master for the big screen, a movie project that will unite two of the world’s biggest movie industries in the world: India and China (it’ll be a China-India co-production). Here’s what Devarajan said in a press release:

“The (Monkey Master) story will take place between ancient and modern day China and India as the myth of monkey warriors, known to both cultures, come together in the creation of a modern day superhero.”

Monkey Master is said to have been put on the fast track so they can go into production by the end of 2017 (the fourth quarter). The superhero movie will also most likely be filmed in English and will boast a Western director at the helm, with a cast that will include Chinese, Indian and international actors. Stan Lee said:

“I have always been fascinated by the Chinese and Indian cultures which are so philosophical and rich in tradition and morality. Monkey Master will be unique in how it interweaves Chinese and Indian myth to create a hero that will entertain fans across the world with his martial arts skills and unstoppable super-powers.”

Lee’s media company POW! Entertainment and China’s Shinework Pictures will be working hand in hand along with Graphic India to start early preproduction on the live-action superhero movie. India’s Cinema Capital Advisory will also be involved in the co-production.
