Star Trek: Discovery has dropped an exciting new trailer for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with lots of Klingons, new aliens and starships, explosions, and more, oh my!
The trailer boasts a ton of previously unseen footage, including a first look at Jason Isaacs’ Captain Lorca in action, and Rainn Wilson as Harry Mudd. We also get more of the relationship between Sonequa Martin-Green’s lead character, First Officer Michael Burnham, who is revealed to be Spock’s step-sister.
Yep, it was revealed at the panel earlier that Martin-Green’s character was raised by Sarek (James Frain) and Amanda following the death of her parents at an early age (and we get a brief snippet of that scene in the new trailer). In any case, there's a lot to unwrap in the trailer so, without further ado:
The upcoming 15-episode Star Trek series also stars Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Shazad Latif, and Mary Wiseman.
Star Trek: Discovery will premiere on September 24 on CBS All Access (with the pilot episode debuting on CBS).
