Return of the JediThis is probably the first thing most sci-fi fans think of when the whole father-son thing comes up, and with good reason; Luke and Anakin's complicated familial relationship is one for the ages. After finally finding out who his father really is in Empire, Luke tries to convince dad to shun the Dark Side, despite all evidence that he's way, way too late. Of course, this leads to the chill-inducing scene in which Vader, faced with the destruction of his offpsring, makes a galaxy-altering decision. If you don't want to hug it out with your dad after watching this, we don't know what to say.

Star Wars fans have been having a bit of a public relations problem, mostly because of a subsection’s online behavior, but for every toxic fan, there’s one making something incredible. With all the time saved by not hounding The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, some fans have created some of the most epic supplemental content the franchise has ever seen.

We’re talking battles. Sith and Jedi. And we’re talking big.

According to io9, YouTuber SergiuHellDragoonHQ has created a video simulating a confrontation between 20,000 Jedi and 20,000 Sith using a video game called Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator -- which is a sandbox platform allowing all sorts of cross-genre crossfire, like dinosaurs fighting Satan. But Star Wars is what we want, and it’s what we get.

Just take a look:

The 25-minute war rages with the mulitcolored lightsabers and glowing red swords finding purchase, each balancing the Force until -- well -- we won’t spoil the ending here. You’ll have to watch this battle for yourself and let us know if you think Episode IX should include something on such a scale... somehow.
