You probably know Drew Struzan even if you don't know his name, thanks to his awesome Star Wars art. So awesome, in fact, that George Lucas (who should know) has called him "the only collectible artist since World War II." So when we heard that AMC had chosen this sci-fi art god to paint a poster for The Walking Dead, we thought ... strange. At first.

But then we remembered, oh, yeah, that's right—Struzan is so much more than just Star Wars. He's done horror before, as with his incredibly atmospheric poster for The Mist. But still, we weren't ready for his terrifyingly gruesome poster for AMC's upcoming series ... which when we saw it, made us want to turn and run. (Though if you happen to be in San Diego, you might want to run to the AMC booth today at 4:00 p.m., where we hear you'll be able to get a signed copy.)

Amazingly, this is supposed to be Struzan's first stab at zombies.

How do you think he did?
