Float on down to Castle Rock, the fictional Maine town that serves as the setting for a ton of Stephen King's novels and short stories like The Dark Half, Needful Things, and Uncle Otto's Truck. Now, the apocryphal town is getting its own eponymous TV series on Hulu, drawing characters and elements from various works by King. Fans of the horror author already know that many of his writings take place in the same universe, tied together with elements from The Dark Tower series.
An ad for the show dropped during the Super Bowl, but most unfortunately, it was the same one that dropped online three days ago. The good news is that if you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it below and begin to try and unlock the mysteries of Castle Rock.
Castle Rock arrives on the streaming service sometime this summer. It stars Melanie Lynskey, André Holland, Jane Levy, Scott Glenn, Terry O'Quinn, Frank L. Ridley, and King alums Sissy Spacek (Carrie) and Bill Skarsgård (IT).
