Millie Bobby Brown became the undisputed breakout star of Stranger Things last summer, despite her tender age. Even more impressive, was the fact Brown, 13, made such an impact playing the near-mute character of Eleven.

But that’s set to change in season two, with Brown revealing to Entertainment Weekly that not only does the psychokinetic runaway get a few more words this time, she’ll also be dropping an F-bomb of some kind, too.

“I didn’t have much more vocabulary but the things I did have to say were really fun,” Brown tells EW. “There’s one curse word this season which was really different and funny.”

While it’s not exactly clear which curse word Eleven will get to verbalize, the actress and producer did reveal to EW that will see a significant progression in her narrative arc.

“She’s learning how to be a normal teenager and she never had a normal childhood. A big thing for her is to come into a world where she not only has powers but she has teenage issues. It’s something that I’m going through right now also so it’s pretty relatable [laughs].”

Ross Duffer added that they “wanted to give her a really interesting arc this season that’s different than just playing fish out of water. So we get to see a lot of range out of her which is great.”

Whatever the case, it’s clear that there’s going to be a lot of surprises this time round. We’ve already been giddy at the thrilling trailers we’ve seen so far, and the show appears to be intent on cramming as many pop culture references in as per usual, which is always a good thing in our opinion.
