Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown hit The Tonight Show earlier this week and promoted the Netflix hit with a rap recapping all of Season 1. Not to be outdone, her co-stars turned up on the show Thursday and joined host Jimmy Fallon for a Stranger Things-themed dance battle.
For the segment, Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), and Noah Schnapp (Will) all joined Fallon onstage and took turns pressing a buzzer that stopped on a random dance theme, all spelled out in a Stranger Things font. Once the theme was selected, each cast member had to improvise a dance around it, whether it was "Toastin' Waffles" or "Trying to Fix an '80s TV." With a little help from house band The Roots, they managed to put on quite the show.
As Fallon promised to pick a winner, each star brought their A-game, and Matarazzo and McLaughlin quickly used their Broadway backgrounds to pull ahead. Then Fallon decided to throw in a little twist: Everyone wins, and they all get to dance together for once final theme called "The Upside Get Down" (get it?). The result is a truly wacky finale in which Fallon literally flips a camera upside down for the performance. Check it out:
The boys also sat down for an interview segment with Fallon in which they discussed, of all things, a collective love of High School Musical.
