The Stranger Things cast took a tour of the Upside Down when they wandered through a maze inspired by the hit Netflix show as part of Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights. And of course they justifiably freaked out when a Demogorgon jumped out at them.
Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), and Priah Ferguson (Erica Sinclair) visited Universal Studios Hollywood to check out the newly unveiled Stranger Things maze. And their reactions are priceless. See for yourself:
“That first Demogorgon, I’m not going to lie. I was not planning this. I wasn’t trying to be the center of attention. That. Literally. Scared me,” McLaughlin confesses. Judging by the way he both shrieks and jumps back so hard he falls to the floor when the monster leaps out at him, we’re inclined to believe him.
Through the new attraction, fans of the series can wander through recreated set pieces inspired by Stranger Things’ first season that members of the cast themselves call “freaking awesome,” “really great,” and “so scary.”
The Halloween Horror Nights Stranger Things haunted maze debuted at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort on Sept. 14, and will arrive at Universal Studios Singapore on Sept. 27. For Season 3 of the series, we’re afraid you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer.
