Can’t get enough Stranger Things content? The kids facing the Upside Down demons in print and TV (or even on a bike) not quite enough? Well then Dark Horse Comics has great news for you, because the publisher announced it’s teaming up with Netflix to launch a line of Stranger Things comics. Nothing’s more ‘80s than comic tie-ins.
As Dark Horse posted on its Facebook page, this comic will be sync up with the events of Season 1:
“The first series in the line will explore the adventures of Will Byers after he was transported to the horrific extra-dimensional Upside Down at the beginning of season 1,” the post reads. “This four-issue Stranger Things miniseries — written by Jody Houser, illustrated by Stefano Martino, inked by Keith Champagne, colored by Lauren Affe, and lettered by Nate Piekos — will finally give fans a look at what happened to Will in the Upside Down." While we got a little more of Will’s story in Season 2, that poor kid suffered in relative silence for the show’s first run.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the team-up of Netflix and Dark Horse is for “a multi-year publishing line” that aims to flesh out the world of Stranger Things’ small, spooky town a bit more than the show.
Stranger Things #1 will be out in stores on Sept. 26, while Season 3 of the show returns in 2019.
