Stranger Things’ newest season will have lots of changes for the series, including a roster of guest stars featuring the likes of Cary Elwes and a moment or two for Will to breathe before being continually boxed as a supernatural punching bag.
The third season has entered production after the warm reception of its predecessors with plenty of fanfare, which we know because Netflix released a football-team-like hype video promising table reads and lots of “Boys Are Back in Town” action. Only spookier.
Production actually started on April 20, according to the video, but as far as the video shows, we don’t know much more than the cast has gathered for script reads -- and that Priah Ferguson continues to be a delightfully sassy little sister.
Watch the video and see for yourself:
We can’t glean much else from the video, besides the rotating camera and synth assuring us that the aesthetic will stay the same in this season, because even the brief glimpse of script we see doesn’t even have a real episode title. Episode 301 (and the rest of the season’s eight episodes) will likely drop during fall of this year or early 2019.
