Hey you guys! It's Stranger Things Thursday, and in anticipation of Season 2, those clever marketeers at Netflix have released yet another poster channeling a favorite '80s flick — this one a loving homage to The Goonies.

As every fan of the Richard Donner classic knows, The Goonies one-sheet showcased its band of kid adventurers from Astoria, Oregon, huddled over One-Eyed Willy's skull and pirate treasure.

In the Duffer brothers' version, the Hawkins, Indiana, gang strike a similar pose hovering over a baffled Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) —aka the boy who vanished after encountering the monster in Season 1 — holding a mysterious glowing entity (another demigorgon from the Upside Down, a pile of weird-o Christmas lights?) as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) looks on warily.

Gaten Matarazzo's Dustin reminds us of Chunk, don't ya think?

The reverent promo for the hit sci-fi horror series is the latest throwback that salutes posters from other seminal movies that have served as pop culture fodder for the show's creators. Those include Jaws, Alien, Firestarter, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and most recently The Evil Dead.

Stranger Things 2 premieres on Netflix Oct. 27.
