Netflix and the Duffer Brothers know how much you love Stranger Things, so they released another way you can get your '80s on with a new SNES-style game that puts you back in time and back in Hawkins, Indiana.
Stranger Things: The Game looks like the action-adventure games you grew up with, right down to the 16-bit title and the music. It's also free, and you don't have to worry about micro-transactions (double bonus!).
IGN reports you can play as a number of different characters from the series as you explore Hawkins, Mirkwood Forest, Hawkins Lab, and gain access to locations that haven't been revealed on the show. You'll also have special puzzle-solving abilities based on which character you play. Lucas has his Wrist Rocket. Nancy has an entire collection of bats.
For you achievement lovers, there are Eggos and Gnomes galore, and collecting them all will unlock special bonuses for you. The game even includes Speed Run times, so you and your friends can compete.
The game is also supposed to receive a "mysterious update" on October 27 when Season 2 premieres on Netflix. So there's a lot to look forward to. Stranger Things: The Game is currently available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
