Tim Burton's magical suburban fairy tale has been a touchstone for cinephiles and dreamers since it was released back in December of 1990 and, except for The Nightmare Before Christmas, is perhaps one of the acclaimed director's most personal films.

Jiang presents the innocent Edward in his gothic black leather outfit standing on a sheet of gleaming steel blades while flanked by a collage of frosty ice sculptures beneath a star-speckled, moonlit winter sky. Upon closer inspection you can see the distinct shapes of snow penguins, birds, horses, angelic women, a deer, and a roaring dinosaur.

"The things that inspired me from the movie were the sculptures that Edward created," Jiang explained in a press release. "I think those things are the connections between him and what he sees in his life and also became the bridges that link him with the people he likes. He really put his emotions and creativity into the things he created so people can feel what he feels. That was the reason why I choose him and his creatures as the main roles in the poster design."
