Some of the music I listen to the most is from movies, TV shows, and video games. I love soundtracks and that love doesn’t stop with the official releases. Fans create some amazing music inspired by these albums and often that music takes the form of interesting covers. One of my favorite musicians who does this is the extremely talented violinist Taylor Davis.

Davis creates beautiful music including original works, but I regularly check her YouTube channel to see what geeky music she might have covered recently. Taylor is a fan of everything from anime to video games and it’s easy to see her passion for these in her work. She’s created fabulous versions of music from properties like The Legend of Zelda, Undertale, Skyrim, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Naruto, and more. Sometimes she also teams up with others to add piano or vocals to the mix.

It’s not just her music that keeps me checking her channel either. Davis also creates remarkable videos to go with each of her covers. These videos often include stunning settings, some more elaborate than others, that match the music. There are occasionally impressive costumes worn by Davis and those around her as well. Even if the video is simply showing Davis playing though, it’s still extraordinary to watch as her fingers and bow fly across her instrument!

If you’re a fellow fan who loves geeky soundtracks, I highly recommend checking out her channel. You’ll definitely find something fun to listen to and watch among Davis’ videos.
