Legendary comic artist Alex Ross and Marvel Comics have united once more to assemble a mysterious teaser image bringing together several generations of heroes. The stunning artwork was first unveiled by Marvel Entertainment via their Twitter feed with one simple caption: Generations.

Ross' gorgeous painting features a who's who of classic Marvel characters and their modern counterparts. So who are the superheroes featured in the Generations piece? Here they are, from left to right (via the good folks at Comic Book Movie):

Phoenix (Jean Grey and her younger version), Wolverine (Logan and X-23), Thor (that'd be Thor Odinson and Jane Foster), Captain America (Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson), Nova (Richard Ryder and Sam Alexander), Captain Marvel (Mar-vell and Carol Danvers), Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan), Hawkeye (Clint Barton and Kate Bishop), Iron Man (Tony Stark and Riri Williams), Spider-Man (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) and Hulk (Bruce Banner and Amadeus Cho).

So far, nothing is known about the Summer 2017 event. Is Generations the next chapter in the Marvel Civil War saga? Could it be an epic multi-generations team-up event? It sure is going to be fun to find out. Click on the pic below to embiggen it before sounding off in the comments below.
