Following the recently revealed concept art for Mad Max director George Miller’s canceled Justice League Mortal flick, now come some cool storyboards that depict an epic brawl between Superman and Wonder Woman.
The storyboards were posted by artist Steve Skroce on his Facebook page, giving us another tease of what could have been if the movie had gone ahead. First off, the scene would have happened near the end of the movie. Big Bad villain Maxwell Lord (Jay Baruchel) takes control of Supes’ (D.J. Cotrona) mind and forces him into an epic clash with his Justice League teammates. The storyboards you'll see below depict the fight that would have taken place between the Man of Steel and the Amazon Princess, just before Batman (Armie Hammer) steps in and snaps Lord’s neck. The scene diverges a bit from the comics, where it’s actually Wonder Woman who is forced to do the dirty deed. Here’s what Skroce wrote on his page:
"I'm seeing a lot of art from the cancelled George Miller Justice League film so here's a few boards that I did for the film. It was incredibly fun drawing the DC comics characters which I hadn't had the opportunity to do until then. It's Wonder Woman versus Superman ( they have their reasons, mind control!)"
Check out the storyboards below, and let us know what you think. Would you have loved to have seen this epic fight between Wonder Woman and Superman?
