Proving that too much of a good thing is bad, director Richard Lester's Superman III from 1983 is a universally disliked sequel to the Man of Steel films jump-started by Richard Donner in 1978. But this insane third outing suffers from a possessed Chistopher Reeve, an obnoxiously slapstick Richard Pryor, a ludicrous plot and unrelenting violence that would make Zack Snyder's Man of Steel blush in unadulterated modesty. Not quite the hated hot mess of Superman IV: The Quest For Peace, Superman III has contributed to raising the blood pressure of many innocent fans who deserved far better.
Well, in an effort to turn lemons into lemonade, the fine folks at One Perfect Shot have heard our cries of pain and reimagined the sour-tasting sequel into an intense paranormal flick that I'd pay real money to watch.
Have a look at this recut trailer, and tell us if you'd pool your pennies to see this superhero horror film.
