Ever wonder what it would be like to see the world through Superman's eyes as he flies through a typical day? Wonder no more.
Corridor Digital is the name of a small team of Internet video creators who, according to their bio, "specialize in dreaming up sci-fi, action, and video game-inspired YouTube videos, jam-packed with stunning VFX and movie-like cinematography." Their latest creation, in which Superman finds a lost GoPro camera and attaches it to his head while returning it to its owner, is an example of what they do and, to be honest, is pretty amazing (we might like it better than Man of Steel).
The clip opens with Superman putting the camera on, checking the owner's address and taking off, stopping along the way to fight bad guys and save a beautiful woman from a burning building -- you know, typical errands for a superhero on the go. He also takes in such sights as Dodger Stadium and Griffith Observatory, although we don't recall Kal-El moving from Metropolis to Los Angeles any time in the recent past.
The clip ends happily with Superman returning the camera to its grateful owner (well, sort of grateful ...) and we have to say, the effects and visuals in this, for what is clearly a low-budget production, are very impressive.
